Warren Vaché has pleased audiences worldwide with his magical cornet playing for nearly three decades. He has made countless record-ings and stage, screen, radio and television appearances and spent years playing with such greats as Rosemary Clooney, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Bobby Short, André Previn and Benny Carter.

Mr. Vaché was featured in the recent jazz concert tour of Johnny Mercer’s music based on the best-selling book “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”, and has also been a featured performer with the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Warren Vaché has performed in major jazz festivals and venues all over the world, including the Newport Jazz Festival, JVC and Playboy Jazz Festivals, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Music Center of Los Angeles, Vienna Opera, Royal Festival Hall, London and Lincoln Center. Mr. Vaché has also appeared at Michael’s Pub, the Blue Note, Sweet Basil and Blue Alley and the Blue Note in Tokyo.

Mr. Vaché trained the actor Richard Gere to play the trumpet for his role in the film “The Cotton Club” and has performed on the soundtrack for many movies, including “Biloxy Blues,” “Simon” and “The Dain Curse.” His extensive discography includes his most recent releases, “Horn of Plenty” and “Talk to Baby” which showcase his unique mastery of the cornet and the jazz idiom.
